Net spending in this window - WHU 3rd highest
According to the Mail.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2738621/The-1billion-transfer-window-Manchester-United-s-frantic-buys-push-Premier-League-deals-record-level.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Man United 140m
Arsenal 45m
West Ham 37m
Liverpool 36m
Man City 35.5m
Everton 33m
Newcastle 25m
QPR 22.5m
Hull 12m

The rest below 10m net spend.

They must be taking those fees to the max limit with us but in all that is some investment by us in this window.

All well and good, provided you have a manager who can get the best out of them.

If MK Dons can put 4 past them, we will trounce them by at least 6.

We need to spend to show ambition, and for the Dave's to protect their investment, considering we move to the OS the year after next. Relegation again would be a disaster.

We have no idea of the current wage bill until the accounts are released next year, however during the Icelandic ownership in 2007/2008 our wage bill was £63.6m.

The Dave's go on about FFP, therefore they must be within the boundaries, which suggests they have not overspent.

Like I said, zarate was a free.

Add to it the fact that Valencia isn't £12m up front, you're looking at more like £25m which isn't a massive amount in the stupid world of football finance

I said yesterday you could buy that fat cunt the entire Barca squad and we'd still serve up shit.

Good opp to get rid with two weeks off but they haven't got the minerals.
Sam will look at it and say 3 points from 3 games is acceptable and he will use the spurs game as his excuse. Could have and should have got points blah blah blah.

3 home defeats already. Cunt.

As stated in the original post it's likely the reported max fees inc add ons that the DM have picked up from original media reportings esp with foreign clubs as they always quote the max fee. For instance some have reported the max fee for Cresswell could rise to 7m and for Sakho near 6m.

In terms of the players we have brought in , this must be one of our best transfer windows, and the fat useless cunt still can't get anything out of them..Wont be long now before he abandons the new "expansive attacking football" and reverts to kind

Zarate was a free wasn't he?

As you know I hate those pair of lying cunts (take me to court you pricks you're proven liars) but they've bought well this summer.

So well in fact and with players that isn't to the lying fat cunt's liking (you can take me to court as well if you want you fat cunt) you almost wonder why they haven't sacked the fat prick and got a manager who can work with these players.

I'd rather forgo another player now and pay fat cunt off.

There's no way we spent that. The Mail have inflated it by a massive amount. As was said though, it's irrelevant who we buy while the man picking the team is so clueless.

The Sky money was £70m+ without all other revenue, so not that impressive imho.

Our wage bill must be £70m

How is it £37m?

Poyet and zarate were free

Valencia - up to £12m
Cresswell - £2.5m?
kouyate - £7m?
Sakho - £3.5m

Song and Jenkinson - loan

That's not even £30m...

Rat Boy went for 75. That 45 left according to my sums. Anyway. The only reason we are throwing that kind of cash around is The Spunk Brothers don't want to be near the bottom 3.Come spring time. Seeing we got £73 million for coming 13th last season. £37 ain't going to be putting us in the shitter any time soon.?

We should save a heck of a lot of money come the summer, when the fat one is gone. I suspect our new manager won't be on as much as he is.
